According to a July 15 report from The Washington Post, this fundraiser is expected to follow Trump’s official nomination as the Republican presidential candidate at the upcoming Republican National Convention. Amid increasing political unrest in the US, the event will bring together key figures from conservative circles.
On July 13, during a rally in Pennsylvania, a 20-year-old Republican named Thomas Matthew Crooks attempted to assassinate Trump. Despite this, Trump confirmed he would still speak at the crypto conference. In May, Trump was found guilty on 34 felony counts related to fabricating company records. However, a recent ruling by the conservative-led Supreme Court might call this conviction into question. Trump’s sentencing is scheduled for September, just weeks before the US election.

After a June 27 debate, Democratic strategists and lawmakers suggested President Biden step down for potential candidates like Vice President Kamala Harris, citing Biden’s age. If reelected, Biden, now 81, would serve until 85, marking a historic term.
