Additionally, the company shared that pre-ordered devices are currently being shipped out to customers.

CoinDesk reported that some employees at “Solana-Focused companies” view the development of the new smartphone as a gamble. Specifically, the device’s creation is based on the belief that mobile technology will play a crucial role in the future of cryptocurrencies. According to CoinDesk, the Solana Saga smartphone is priced at $1,000 and is manufactured by Bay Area smartphone company OSOM. The device features 512 GB of storage, a back camera lens, a 6.67-inch OLED display with a fingerprint scanner, and comes with the Android operating system pre-installed.
