Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has announced the launch of his fourth non-fungible token (NFT) collection in partnership with Binance. This new collection will debut on May 29 on the Binance NFT Marketplace, celebrating Ronaldo’s illustrious career with highlights from his journey.
“My football journey has taken me around the world, and I’ve been honored to play for some of the most prestigious clubs. Now it’s your turn to join me on that journey too,” Ronaldo stated.
Collection Details
The number of NFTs in this new collection will be revealed at launch. Although the exact pricing remains undisclosed, the announcement confirms that all “Normal NFTs” will have fixed prices. However, the “Super Rare NFT” in the collection will have a different pricing structure.

Perks of Previous NFT Events
Ronaldo’s previous NFT collections offered exclusive perks beyond the digital assets. These perks included premium experiences, such as opportunities for holders to play football with Ronaldo himself, as part of Binance promotions.
Legal Challenges
Despite the excitement surrounding the new NFT launch, Ronaldo faces legal issues in the United States. He faces a class action lawsuit filed in a Florida district court. The plaintiffs allege that Ronaldo “promoted, assisted in, and actively participated in the offer and sale of unregistered securities in coordination with Binance.” They claim he should have known about Binance’s involvement in such activities.
This lawsuit stems from Binance’s prior legal troubles. Authorities found its founder, Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, guilty of enabling fraud. Zhao received a sentence in April 2024 to serve four months in detention for his role in an alleged money laundering scheme.
