He expressed his openness to the burgeoning industry, stating, “I am very positive and open-minded to cryptocurrency companies and all things related to this new and burgeoning industry.”

Trump also took aim at President Joe Biden, his opponent in the upcoming 2024 presidential race. He criticized Biden’s approach to cryptocurrency, saying, “CROOKED JOE BIDEN, ON THE OTHER HAND, THE WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY, WANTS IT TO DIE A SLOW AND PAINFUL DEATH. THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN WITH ME!”

This optimistic forecast follows the Trump 2024 campaign’s announcement on May 21 that it would accept cryptocurrency donations. The campaign’s fundraising page, using the Coinbase Commerce product, allows eligible supporters to donate in various cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, XRP, USD Coin, SOL, and 0x (ZRX).

Reports indicate that individuals who purchased Trump’s “Mugshot” non-fungible tokens (NFTs) had the opportunity to dine with him at his Mar-a-Lago residence on May 8.
