Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo is launching a new nonfungible token (NFT) collection with Binance, celebrating the different stages of his illustrious career. The collection, titled “Forever Worldwide: The Road to Saudi Arabia,” chronicles Ronaldo’s journey from a teenage prodigy in Madeira to his impactful tenures at Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Launch of the NFT Collection
Ronaldo announced the collection on May 29, 2024, via social media. He emphasized the sentimental value of the artwork created by artists from Portugal, Manchester, Madrid, Turin, and Saudi Arabia.
“Introducing my newest NFT collection which launches today on #Binance. Forever Worldwide: The Road to Saudi Arabia celebrates my football journey, with artwork created by artists in Portugal, Manchester, Madrid, Turin, and Saudi Arabia,” Ronaldo tweeted.
Details and Collaboration
The exchange collaborated with local artists from various cities significant to Ronaldo’s career, including Madeira, Lisbon, Manchester, Madrid, Turin, and Saudi Arabia. Each artist contributed unique designs to represent different stages of Ronaldo’s career.
Ronaldo highlighted the collection’s goal of offering fans unique digital artworks that capture memorable moments of his career, while also providing exclusive experiences:

Phased Launch and Artwork
The “Forever Worldwide” collection is launching in two phases. The first phase, which began on May 29, features NFT artworks from Madeira, Lisbon, and Manchester. Notable artists include Katt Phatt (Madeira), Rodrigo Doin (Lisbon), and John Sheehan (Manchester), who each depict Ronaldo’s early career and time with Manchester United.

The second phase, set for June 6, will include artwork representing Ronaldo’s career in Madrid, Turin, and Saudi Arabia. These NFTs are designed by Spanish artist Lisett Ledón (Madrid), Italian artist Pasquale Garibaldi (Turin), and Saudi artist Shaker Kashgari (Saudi Arabia).
Exclusive and Rare NFTs
Later in June, seven “super, super rare NFTs” designed by Portuguese street artist Mr. Dheo will be auctioned. This limited-edition collection commemorates Ronaldo’s career with the Portuguese national team and offers a range of real-world rewards, including vintage jerseys, football tickets, and signed posters.
Additionally, collectors of these rare NFTs will have the chance to submit questions for Ronaldo to answer in personalized videos. The exclusive Portugal NFTs also come with an in-person experience with Ronaldo, including a trip to Riyadh to attend a match and a personalized goal celebration moment with the star.
