Arjarwalla was detained in Nigeria along with another Binance executive following accusations that the exchange manipulated the Nigerian naira. Arjarwalla managed to escape custody on March 22 and fled Nigeria using a Kenyan passport, despite his UK passport being held by Nigerian authorities.
